Our Drivers Do the Work For You
You don't need to be a battery expert. T E S, Inc. drivers are trained in DOT-compliant sorting and packaging for all battery chemistries and e-waste. When we arrive, we assess your materials, handle the sorting, and package everything safely for transport — keeping you, our team, and the environment protected.
Lead-Acid Batteries
- Our drivers position batteries upright and secure them to prevent leaks
- Caps and vents are inspected and confirmed leak-free before loading
- Batteries are palletized and stacked no more than two layers high
- Stretch wrap or strapping is applied to prevent shifting in transit
- Terminals are covered or taped to eliminate short-circuit risk
Lithium-Ion & Lithium Batteries
- Each battery is individually bagged and terminals taped on-site
- Batteries are packed in sturdy, non-conductive outer boxes
- Dividers are used to prevent contact between cells
- Our drivers are trained in lithium-specific DOT handling requirements
- No guesswork needed — we bring the right materials for safe packaging
Nickel-Cadmium & Other Rechargeable Batteries
- Terminals are taped and batteries sorted by chemistry on arrival
- Mixed chemistries are separated into the correct containers
- Rigid containers or original packaging are used whenever available
- Outer containers are labeled with battery type and quantity by our team
E-Waste (Electronics)
- Our drivers remove batteries from devices before packaging
- Screens and fragile components are wrapped for safe transport
- Items are packed in sturdy boxes — never overfilled
- Boxes are labeled with contents and secured with packing tape
- We handle the entire process so your team can stay focused on business
